April 2 - Little Sprouts (Columbus Botanical Gardens, Columbus)
Lesson: Hop, Leap, and Croak: An Adventure into the Amphibian Kingdom. 3-5 year olds (+ 1 free caretaker) Dive into the captivating world of amphibians with our engaging children's environmental education class. First Tuesday of every month
April 4 - Homeschool Hangout (Harris County Public Library, Hamilton)
Our Homeschool Hangout is such an amazing resource for our families looking for additional support, meeting others in the area, social time, as well as supplemental instruction. Call to find out what the upcoming month has to offer and to register. 706-628-4685. A library card is not required to participate.

April 5 - Friends of the Library $5 Bag Sale (LaGrange Memorial Library, LaGrange)
The Friends of the Library Bookshop is having a book sale! Purchase a bag for $5 and fill it up. Come on out and find that perfect read!

April 8 - Eclipse Viewing Party (Harris County Public Library, Hamilton)
We will be enjoying the Total Eclipse today outside. Join us! We have eclipse glasses available and can witness the beauty and wonder of our amazing solar system.
April 11 - Budding Naturalist (Columbus Botanical Gardens, Columbus)

April 11 - Homeschool in the Park: Prepare for Bad Weather Tips ( FDR State Park, Pine Mountain)
Geared towards families who homeschool. Join WTVM Storm Team and Park Staff and learn tips from real meteorologists. Cost $8 per student. Must pre-register by call the office at (706) 663-4858. Meet at picnic shelter below the dam in the campground.
April 11 - Board Game Day (LaGrange Memorial Library, Hamilton)
Join us for traditional card and board games. Bring a friend and make a friend! All Ages
April 12 - Homeschool Fridays (Treadstone Climbing Gym, Columbus)
For Homeschool Families. Every 2nd AND 4th Friday each month from 3pm - 6pm. Gear Included
April 12 - Homeschool Book Club (LaGrange Memorial Library, LaGrange)

4/22 - Homeschool Day (Majestic Caverns, Childersburg AL)
We’re offering the deepest discounts to Homeschoolers and their children. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate on Homeschool days, simply tell our retail host on Homeschool Day that you are a homeschooling family and we will utilize the honor system and apply your discount.
4/25 - STEAM Days at the Biblical History Museum (LaGrange)
STEAM are a fun way for children to learn about daily life in the ancient world, through science and the arts! Each STEAM Day will consist of a snack, a lesson, and a craft or activity. These programs are created to best suit children aged 6-12, but older and younger children are welcome to attend. Pricing: $19 per child ages 13-17 | $16 per child ages 6-12 | $10 per child ages 4-5 Registration is REQUIRED. Multiple Dates - Deep Blue Sea (Springer Opera House, Columbus)
ARTS IN EDUCATION PERFORMANCES PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL THEATRE EXPERIENCES FOR STUDENTS AT A REDUCED RATE OF ADMISSION, WHICH IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO SCHOOL GROUPS. Deep Blue Sea Arts in Education performances are May 1, 2, 3, 2024 at 9:30 and 11:00 AM. Pre-show activities begin 30 minutes prior to showtime.
