Our Homeschool Journey: A Weekly Reflection
March 3-7
Weekly Reflection: It’s been a while since I’ve posted a weekly reflection. Sometimes life just tumbles along in all it’s choas and it’s hard to keep up. That’s been the last few weeks. Lots to do around the house and everyone needs my time. Putting things into perspective has been something I’ve been very diligent about this year. Being a household manager or rather CEO can be very taxing. If you’re not careful it can become all consuming. Even in the last few weeks where time was short and tasks were many sometimes it’s good to sit back and look at what you’ve accomplished not what you haven’t accomplished. I have a list of most important things to keep my life in perspective. They are God, spouse, family, serving and creating. Those are the things I feel called to do. Thinking back, I had plenty of time in the presence of the Lord, had meaningful conversations with my spouse, had the blessing of lots of family time, I served and have had many opportunities to be creative. Maybe my ever growing to do list didn’t get completed but the important things were done. To me that’s a good week ❤️
