Experience the Mind-Bending Fun at Atlanta's Museum of Illusions

Museum of Illusions Atlanta

We were invited to spend a fun day at the Museum of Illusions in Atlanta and this place was packed with family fun along with tons of photo opportunities. From the moment we walked in the museum we were drawn in to the mind-bending fun! This place will make you question if you can trust what your eyes are seeing. If you're looking for unforgettable family fun that will challenge your perception of reality, then the Museum of Illusions in Atlanta is a must-visit.

Located in the heart of Atlanta, this interactive museum is the ultimate playground for curious minds. From optical illusions that will make you question what you're seeing to mind-boggling puzzles that will leave you scratching your head, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Here are some of the highlights of our visit:

  • Life Sized Pin Board: The first thing that caught our kids eyes was the life sized pin board. They probably could have stayed there all day making imprints of their hands and faces 😂

  • The Infinity Room: This mesmerizing room is filled with mirrors that create an endless illusion of space. This is the room our kids were looking forward to most and it did not disappoint!

  • The Vortex Tunnel: Step into this cylindrical tunnel and prepare to be disoriented. As you walk through, the walls and ceiling will seem to swirl and spin around you, creating a dizzying sensation. We walked through this several times and I can’t even blame that on the kids we had just as much fun as the kids doing this.

  • The Ames Room: This illusionary room makes people appear larger or smaller depending on their position. We spent so much time in this room going from big to small. This room had us cracking up the most watching the kids grow and the parents shrink on the screen.

  • The Reverse Room: This room let’s you experience what it would be like to walk on the ceiling and stand upside down on a table. We had so much fun being creative in this exhibit coming up with different poses.

In addition to this place being an absolute blast it offers screen free time for the whole family to enjoy and learn how our minds work. I highly recommend planning a trip to the Museum of Illusions in Atlanta for an educational experience that will challenge your mind and spark your imagination!
