9/4: Knee-High Naturalists (3-6 years) (Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center, Columbus)
Looking for options for your early learners? Oxbow’s Knee-High Naturalists program is designed for ages 3-6 years, joined by a parent, and will explore the world during programs led by an Oxbow Meadows Environmental Educator. Each session will focus on a new topic that encourages working together to discover, imagine, laugh, craft, and explore the outdoors. $5 per participating child
9/5: Homeschool Hangout - Harris Co. K-9 Unit (Harris County Public Library, Hamilton)

9/6: Homeschool Skate (Starlite Family Fun Center, Sharpsburg)
Inviting all homeschoolers to come skate with us! The first Friday of the month 1:00pm-4:00pm
9/6: Homeschool Book Club (Lagrange Memorial Library, Lagrange)

9/6 & 9/7: Nate the Great (CSU Department of Theatre and Dance, Columbus)
Tickets may be purchased at the Riverside Theatre Box Office, located at the intersection of 10 Street and Bay Avenue, or by phone at: 706-507-8444. The Box Office is open the week of performances, Monday–Friday, from 12–6 p.m., and one hour before all performances.
9/10- MarinEngineers (Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta)
Assemble your tools and get ready to use the engineering design process.
9/10- Homeschool Play Day (Chuck E Cheese, Columbus)
On the 2nd Tuesday of every month, join us for Homeschool Play Days! From open – 4pm, score 90-minutes of All You Can Play games, a reusable Play Pass card, unlimited soft drinks, and all the E-Tickets you can earn on gameplay for just $11.99 per kid. 9/11- Homeschool Day: Aquatic Macroinvertebrates (High Falls State Park, Jackson)
Bring Homeschoolers to learn the importance of freshwater in our world and what macroinvertebrates can tell us about our water. Be ready to hike and possibly get your shoes wet! Spaces limited, must register in advance.
9/11 - Enviro Explorers (6-12 years) (Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center, Columbus)
Oxbow’s Enviro Explorers program series is designed for ages 6-12 years, joined by a parent, and will explore the world during programs led by an Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Educator. Each session will focus on a new topic that inspires working collaboratively in the areas of nature exploration, discovery, data collection, hypothesizing, experimenting, and creating. Tickets only required for the participants. Adults and children age 2 and under are free. Limited tickets available. Walk-ins not guaranteed entry.

9/16- Majestic Caverns Homeschool Day (Majestic Caverns, Childersburg, AL)
Make your child’s learning come alive and feel like a hero as they both learn and have fun. Explore the depths of our cavern, engage in above ground fun and even have an underground classroom for an unforgettable experience.

9/19 - Homeschool in the Park: FDR State Park & the CCC (Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park, Pine Mountain)
Geared towards families who homeschool. Join us in learning about the largest state park in Georgia! Learn a bit about the Great Depression, FDR and the CCC with activities. Then take a tour of Liberty Bell Pool, a CCC structure! Cost $8 per student. Limited space, so pre-registration required. Meet at Stone Picnic Shelter near the pool.
9/19 - Homeschool Day: Patent Pending (Atlanta History Center, Atlanta)
Come with us as we walk through a timeline of some of the inventions that changed the world. Learn about the history of their development, the inventors who made them, and why they are seen as revolutionary. You'll even have a chance to dive into the invention process yourself!
9/19 or 9/20 - Homeschool Science Days (Callaway Resort & Gardens , Pine Mountain)
Gardening Galore: Learn how to grow vegetables and herbs in your own backyard. Students will have the opportunity to plant cool-season vegetables at the Pioneer Log Cabin and will get to take their own veggie seeds home.
9/20: Fall Homeschool Day at Alabama Safari Park (Hull, AL)
Join Alabama Safari Park for a fun day of learning and discovery specifically designed for homeschool students! On Friday, September 20, homeschool families can experience a full-day of special education programming and keeper chats at the Alabama Safari Park where the classroom will literally come to life with hands-on interactive programs in an exciting learning environment.

9/26 - Early Explorers (Alabama Wildlife Federation, Millbrook, AL)
Early Explorers is a preschool program that ANC offers to the public monthly best for children 8 and under. Last Thursday of each month, 10-11am. Includes various theme related activities! All materials will be provided. Program begins promptly at 10am. Cost is $10 per participating child, adults are free. Space is limited, please call ahead or email Matt Vines. Please purchase your program ticket in advance. Please check in at the receptionist desk upon arrival for the program.
9/26 - The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show (River Center for the Performing Arts, Columbus)
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show has been dazzling audiences around the globe for over seven years, faithfully bringing Eric Carle’s timeless classics to the stage.
Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, this production of the critically acclaimed show features a menagerie of over 75 magical puppets, including the star of the show –The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Alongside The Very Hungry Caterpillar, every production of the show features three other Eric Carle stories. Audiences travel the world with 10 Little Rubber Ducks; meet one Very Busy Spider, and spend time with friends big and small in Head To Toe. These beloved tales are brought to life by a captivating cast of storytellers, sweeping original music, and stunning puppetry.

Homeschool P.E. (Sky Zone, Columbus)
P.E. Break at Sky Sky Zone, Fridays 1pm-3pm // Only $5 per HomeSchool Student (not available during School breaks and Holidays) Discounted jump prices specifically for Homeschool students. Take a break from the books and get some awesome, healthy exercise in on a consistent basis. Not valid during school breaks (i.e., Summer) Discounted prices offered for all HomeSchool students of any age. Every Weekday during the school year between 1pm – 3pm.
